Administrator for Sales Orders

The objective of this role is to administrate the sales order process, with particular responsibility for sales activity created through export and e-commerce channels. The ideal candidate will also provide administrative support on the sales of spare parts as well as general administrative support within the sales office as required.

Key Objectives:

  • Support Export Manager with development of export sales
  • Administration of sales enquiries
  • Orders for equipment and spares
  • Working with SAGE 50 (accounts)
  • Creating and submitting invoices

Personal/Professional Requirements:

  • Strong administration skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent understanding of IT, experience of working with all MS programmes
  • An understanding of the sales process/cross selling/upselling
  • Strong IT capability as you will be required to cover website admin
  • Experienced, with automotive industry background (desirable)
  • Database manipulation experience (desirable)
  • Understanding of export sales (desirable)
  • Website administration (desirable)

Job Accountabilities:

  • Administration of export sales
  • Follow up calls to customers who have received quotes
  • Follow up calls where business has been generated from e-marketing campaigns
  • Processing customer enquiries and orders, and maintenance of customer records
  • Interdepartmental liaison including export/spares/service departments
  • Support co-workers in the sales office

This position is 8:30 to 4:30, Monday to Friday (37.5 hrs) and is Commutable from Plymouth, Ivybridge & Saltash.
