Assisting the Contract Manager and support technician you will form part of the specialist services shift team and will be part of carrying out all aspects of flooring repairs and services that are required for medium and large sized project works. The main part of the role will involve the removal and reparation of concrete, which will require the use of machinery and manual skills.
Customer service is the company’s highest priority, and whether you’re working in a team or with other trades tenants you will be required to deliver a timely, efficient, safe and friendly service of the highest quality.
Although you will officially be based in the head office in Ivybridge, you will frequently be travelling to client sites, as is the way with this sort of work. When based in Ivybridge you will be working on multiple roles as required throughout the factory.
As you may expect, the role requires a level of flexibility in both hours and location. Travel will be majority UK based but there may also be a requirement for overseas work. You could be away for anything from one night to two weeks. There may also be occasions when you’re required to work outside of standard working hours, for example, nights or weekends and bank holidays.
Knowledge and Experience:
A full UK driving licence and knowledge of health & safety at work are essential. You will need to demonstrate an organised yet flexible approach and the ability to meet deadlines.
