This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a highly recognised diverse industrial specialist in their field who cover food and beverage manufacturing. This company offers excellent career progression due to the size of the engineering team. It is fundamental that you are either of an electrical bias, or have sound working knowledge of electrical systems such as PLC faultfinding and schematics. This will be covering a 4 on 4 off shift pattern including night shift work.
You will need to be a team player in order to manage the Engineering strategy across the site, in order to ensure maximum efficiency of equipment, whilst meeting operational requirements. You will influence engineering and production teams,
carry out and record corrective maintenance on plant machinery and services quickly and efficiently, so as to cause the least amount of machinery downtime.
Also, you will be required to carry out and record planned maintenance on plant machinery and services as scheduled by the Engineering Department.
Experience and qualifications required
A sound technical background with the ability to manage tasks using a lateral, methodical approach, matched by a demonstrable flair for fault finding and rectification.
Strong engineering qualifications and background essential - probably through apprenticeship and day release training to HND level or equivalent (or strong graduate with relevant practical experience)
Manufacturing experience preferred
Extensive experience within a FMCG / food manufacturing company
Demonstrates strong analytical and planning skills.
Demonstrable decision making skills
High degree of computer literacy
