Our prestigious client is looking for a Technical Administrator within the calibration and equipment Engineering team.  This position is office based and performs a key role in supporting a team of professional Engineers.  Responsibilities as a Technical Administrator will include:

  • Managing work requests for calibration, repair, maintenance and safety checks for engineering equipment
  • Registration and control of all site test equipment and daily management of the equipment database
  • Coordination of items which have been subcontracted to external companies
  • Capturing all auditable calibration data and running equipment reports including technical result checks
  • Assisting with both internal and external audits
  • Working with the procurement team on the ordering of components

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a technical environment. Good organisational skills and attention to detail are essential. They will have experience of using Microsoft Office and databases, should be able to communicate effectively and prioritise their own workload.
