We are searching for a Temporary Financial Administrator for an immediate start from now until December end. This position is for a Junior Finance Administrator, you will be working 20 hours a week (ideally 3 hours on Mon & Tues then a full day 9-5 on Wed and 3.5 hours on Thurs & Fri.)

Summary of duties:

  • Checking and printing of emails; Separating invoices, Printing off order requests and managing any other queries
  • Money Counting; Cashing up floats once a week and recording details on a spreadsheet, Preparing event floats for Guildhall & Ocean Studios, Cashing up for event floats and recording on a spreadsheet
  • Invoices; Process invoices on Sage, Process Delivery note on Spreadsheet for cash delivery, Put payment run invoices in alphabetic order
  • Archiving; Assisting existing staff with urgent archiving needs
  • Claims; Photocopying evidence for all claims
  • Petty Cash; Put petty cash vouchers in date order

  • A happy, outgoing attitude and a good work ethic
  • Knowledge of Sage would be useful but is not essential
  • Qualification in/Studying AAT Level 1 or 2 would be desirable
