David has run TQR since 2009. He joined the company in 2004 and acquired a franchise a year later and took on full ownership six years ago. He likes to run the business from the front, still actively recruiting for clients. He sees his key specialism as taking the time to understand his clients, the role and the environment. He will then look to apply his advanced recruitment tools to source the best applicant possible.
As well as running the business, David is also a family man with four children and has almost qualified as a sign language interpreter.
Sam is a highly experienced Recruitment Manager who spends his time supporting all aspects of the business in his role as Business Manager including managing the team on a day to day basis. His primary focus is the strategic delivery of projects which will have a real impact on the team so that they are able to devote more of their time to achieving the best results for our clients whilst continuing to provide exceptional customer service.
Sam's biggest challenge outside of the office is to teach his young son to play rugby, he is 18 months old. Well, they do say you're never too young to start.
Business Engagement Manager
Nicola leads on our Performance Coaching and Leadership Development programmes, she also works with our clients in order to help deliver change within organisations by helping to develop HR policy and consulting on all employment related issues.
Nicola's early professional years in HR were spent at Orange Telecommunications, Royal & Sun Alliance moving into HR Management at Clearlab UK, Princess Yachts and Barden UK.
David is a highly experienced Finance Manager with a background in accountancy. His role is to ensure that all financial matters are dealt with in an orderly, professional manner.
David has also run his own recruitment agency previously and therefore has a sound insight into the industry.
In his spare time David is a keen golfer and sportsman, he practises Mixed Martial Arts and has also been known to try his hand at Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Lizzie specialises in Machining and Technical recruitment and has over 14 years of experience working in both agencies and in-house recruitment.
Lizzie has developed some exceptional working relationships with her clients who really appreciate her honest, dedicated approach. They also love her for being the member of our team that is just a little crazy!
Samantha specialises in recruiting temporary staff for industry. With over ten years of experience behind her, Samantha has harnessed an enviable reputation for her ability to rapidly deliver quality candidates for her clients.
Samantha particularly enjoys the fast pace of temporary recruitment and relishes the opportunity to meet the challenges set by her clients.
Michaella is currently placed at Princess Yachts, working with the HR team as a Recruitment Officer. She supports their HR team on a daily basis, supporting them with all aspects of recruitment.
Michaella has extensive experience recruiting skilled tradespeople. Her ethos is to always be honest with people and to always avoid letting people down where it can be avoided, reliability is crucial in her eyes!
Stephen is an engineering and technical recruitment specialist, specifically within manufacturing. He has over 15 years of experience, starting with temporary production recruitment, and latterly recruiting for more senior engineering and technical roles.
He was born 18 floors up in a block of flats in Portsmouth. Clearly his resourceful, pragmatic approach to solving problems has been with him from birth!
Laura has 6 years experience within the recruitment industry. She has a broad experience of working within different sectors including commercial, industrial and engineering.
Laura is equally adept at sourcing permanent and temporary staff. She loves the fast pace of finding new temporary staff for clients as well as the satisfaction of placing a new permanent candidate.
Rachel has over 5 years of experience in an account management role, ensuring that clients receive the very best in customer care.
In terms of sector focus Rachel is a specialist in the IT industry and recruitment for the public sector. Rachel's tenacious, dedicated approach ensures that her clients receive the very best support and service from her at all times.
Adrian is an International Relations and European Studies graduate.
Adrian uses his communication and analytical skills to help support any recruitment campaigns on the continent.
