Application Engineer – Automotive – Buckinghamshire

Job Description

TQR Exeter is seeking an Application Engineer for an Automotive client near Milton Keynes.

*Driving Licence Required*

• Salary circa £40,000 DOE

We are seeking someone from an automotive background preferably within vehicle testing. The reading of data is paramount rather than the driving.

You will need to have

• Experience in managing concurrent projects.
• ​Experience reading and understanding technical documentation such as regulations, specifications and product data sheets/manuals.
• ​An understanding of complex engineering problems.
• ​Ability to work closely in a team of cross-discipline engineers.
• ​Experience in a customer facing role.
• ​Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• ​Exposure to GNSS and INS technologies is also desirable along with a good understanding of electronics and basic programming or scripting.
