TQR Exeter is seeking an experienced Head Housekeeper responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, tidiness and presentation are maintained within this luxury Hotel near Plymouth, Devon.

As Head Housekeeper, your key responsibilities include:

• Managing, motivating and training the Housekeeping team.
• Opening/closing of the Housekeeping Department and allocating daily tasks. Daily briefs/jobs of the day.
• Liaising with other Hotel departments to ensure Guest requirements/requests are fulfilled. Dealing effectively with any complaints ensuring the client is happy with the resolution and records.
• Ensuring control of payroll within the department along with the preparation of staffing rota to reflect the level of business

Essential skills required:

• You’ll have an eye for detail.
• Experience in a similar role.
• You will have the drive and determination to succeed and make a difference.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Passion for delivering perfection.

The role of the Head Housekeeper is to lead, manage and motivate the team to ensure that cleanliness is always kept to the highest standard, and all done cost-effectively, liaising closely with the General Manager.
