TQR Exeter are excited to be working in partnership with an all year round 5 star family holiday resort in a stunning location near Launceston, Cornwall.

We are seeking a Kitchen Manager for their onsite restaurant & bar to start ASAP on a permanent, full time basis.

As a Kitchen Manager you will be required to:

• Run a service efficiently
• Assist in the food preparation process
• Cook & prepare a variety of straight forward meals – i.e. Burgers, Pizza’s, Curries, Fish & Chips
• Comfortable catering for up to 200 covers
• Manage the order process
• Assist other Chefs when needed
• Help with deliveries and restocking
• Assist with stock rotation
• Contribute to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards
• Keep the kitchen & utensils clean and sanitised

To apply you must:

• Have a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
• Have minimum 6 months experience within a similar environment
• Be a driver with access to your own transport due to location – please note public transport is not available to site
• Flexible with working weekdays and weekends
• Have awareness of manual handling techniques
• Have awareness of (COSHH) and chemical safety
• Be able to provide a minimum of two references of current and previous employers
• Be available for a face to face interview followed by a 4 hour paid trial
