Job Description
My client is looking for an experienced Learning and Development specialist/trainer to develop and deliver world class product training and education to all stakeholders of a large global luxury brand. You will be required to support colleagues across sales, marketing, and operations to bring to life the brand in a way that engages employees and customers alike to connect with the brand’s unique features and benefits. Ultimately, you will be an ambassador to the brand and help to drive brand engagement and sales.
This position offers hybrid working with a requirement to travel and spend 3 to 4 days at Plymouth Head Office as and when required, plus regular travel to retailers across UK and occasionally in Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Head up product training and brand education for all stakeholders involved in key functions across the business.
- Design and deliver training modules to ensure all stakeholders have the required skills and knowledge to educate and sell to consumers about the benefits of investing in their luxury products.
- Conduct skills gap analysis to identify areas of improvement for internal and external sales staff.
- Produce physical and digital assets which can be used online, in showrooms and stores to help upsell the benefits of the product portfolio.
- Onboard new employees into the business to ensure consistent understanding of brand USP’s and positioning.
- Collect feedback from those who have undergone training to assess individuals’ performance and implement changes to training modules where necessary.
- Undertake training visits to stores across the UK and export markets when and where appropriate. Co-ordinate with the sales team in each market
- Work closely with marketing team to understand how benefits of sleep for health purposes can help leverage the benefits of investing in a luxury product.
- Manage the Plymouth showroom to ensure display and product standards are maintained.
Essential Experience / Qualifications and Attributes Required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in training and coaching roles
- Professional qualification in Learning and Development/Training preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A strong empathy for luxury products and bespoke manufacturing
- Team player.
- Strong time management skills
- IT literate in terms of Excel, Word and Power Point
- Clean driving licence
