Logistics Operative

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Operative position for one of Plymouth’s most reputable businesses. Successful candidates will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, providing general support to the manufacturing function. These are temporary to permanent opportunities for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and aptitude to succeed.

Suitable candidates will have previous experience gained from a Logistics and Warehouse environment.

Main Duties:

• Picking parts from stores to feed assembly lines.
• Ensuring all manufactured parts are in good condition when received.
• Preparing parts for dispatch, protecting parts appropriately for the transport required
• Update the Stock Control System
• Assist in loading vehicles for parts to be dispatched.
• Ensure all parts are stored securely where necessary.

Experience

• Problem solving and adaptability
• Previous warehouse experience
• Experience of working as part of a Team
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday 07:00 – 17:00 – Temp to Perm
