We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Pastry Chef for a luxury hotel near Kingsbridge, Devon. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for pastry and possess the talent and creativity to assist the pastry team and deliver exceptional desserts and baked goods.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and follow innovative pastry recipes and menus that align with the concept and delight guests.
• Maintain and enforce strict quality and consistency standards, paying meticulous attention to flavour, presentation, and execution.
• Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless integration of pastry offerings with the overall menu.
• Control food costs and manage inventory to maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and techniques, incorporating new ideas and innovations into the pastry program.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized pastry kitchen..
