Job Description
TQR Exeter is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join this dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimising manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, and enhancing product quality. This position requires a strong background in engineering principles, with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving.

The Process Engineer will monitor and control shop floor processes in their area of responsibility, ensuring optimal performance and high-quality production. They will oversee product development, collaborate with suppliers, and resolve process issues promptly. By working closely with Production and Quality teams, the engineer will maintain product quality standards and minimise downtime. Additionally, they will identify opportunities for process improvement, stay updated on industry trends, and contribute to the team’s ongoing innovation efforts.
Must Haves:
- A minimum of 2 years of applicable process engineering experience and knowledge of multi-discipline engineering principles (or degree within an engineering discipline with an interest in manufacturing).
- Good at statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA, 5S, statistical process control, 8D methodology.
- Proficient in computer applications (MS Office, MRP systems).
- Excellent understanding of route cause analysis principles.
- Demonstrative understanding of the financial implications of product and process changes.
