TQR Exeter is seeking a Process Engineer to join a team of process engineers for an established manufacturer based in Crediton, Mid Devon!

The Process Engineer will monitor and control shop floor processes in their area of responsibility, ensuring optimal performance and high-quality production. They will oversee product development, collaborate with suppliers, and resolve process issues promptly. Maintain product quality standards, minimise downtime and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Must Haves:

• A minimum of 2 years of applicable process engineering experience and knowledge of multi-disciplinery engineering principles (or degree within an engineering discipline with an interest in manufacturing).
• Good at statistical analysis
• Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA, 5S, statistical process control, 8D methodology
• Proficient in computer applications (MS Office, MRP systems)
• Excellent understanding of root cause analysis principles

A degree within an Engineering field is desirable but (non-essential).
