Job Description

TQR Exeter are very excited to be working in partnership with a hotel near Haytor, Devon.

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef with a background in finer dining hotels and restaurants. A Junior Sous Chef may also be considered, at a rate somewhere between £27,000 to £31,000.

As the Sous Chef you will be required to:

  • Lead and support the team.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Organise menu and rota changes, staff training and stock control.
  • Consistently maintain their high standards of food service and provision to meet the expectations of staff, volunteers, visitors and clients.
  • Take operational control, including supervision of all kitchen staff.
  • Help ensure that all members of staff adhere to both statutory regulations and NMA’s policies on food safety and health and safety within all catering areas.
