Waiting Staff – Hotel – Truro – £11.50 per hour – Live-in

We are looking for experienced Waiting staff for this luxury hotel in Kingsbridge. Previous experience within a similar setting is desirable, and you must, above all, be a real people person who cares about delivering a memorable guest journey.

• £11.50 per hour
• Live-in accommodation – subject to weekly charge & availability

You are responsible for working in all food and beverage areas, delivering excellent customer service to all the guests and non-residents. Waiting Staff will also be required to take and deliver customer orders and work to achieve departmental targets. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Prepare stations for service.
• Welcome the guests, issue menus and receive and record orders.
• Serve food and drinks in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Clear and relay tables as necessary.
• Participate in the cleaning of the Restaurant alongside the other Waiting Staff.
• Understand and comply with company policy on HASAWA, fire precautions, and legal requirements, and perform any other tasks that may be required occasionally.
• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
• Work split-shifts
