Job Description

As a result of our clients continued ongoing success, we are seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant. You will need good communication skills, be computer literate and be able to use Microsoft software, particularly Word and Excel. The ability to achieve deadlines is essential.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Accounts payable Manager you will:

  • Be required to work as a team and on your own initiative
  • Complete ad-hoc admin tasks as designated by your line manager
  • Be archiving and recording of invoices and other Accounts Payable paperwork
  • Deal with internal and external suppliers’ queries
  • Reconcile supplier statements, across a ledger of several suppliers
  • Take control of the aged creditors, clearing queries and any aged items
  • Process supplier credit notes

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven experience of accounts payable
  • Understanding of EDI
  • Experience in using stock management systems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • IT literate with intermediate / advanced Excel skills

Full-time hours: Monday – Friday, 08:45am – 17:30pm.
