Manufacturing Operative

Job Description

Working for a Manufacturing business in Saltash, we are looking for Manufacturing Operatives to join the team, initially temporary but with scope to become permanent for the right person.

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00 and Friday 08:00 to 13:00.

Responsibilities:

• General mechanical assembly of products
• To meet production schedules and quality targets
• Read and understand procedures and work instructions
• Working with intricate small components
• Familiar with Quality procedures / Health and Safety

Skills needed:

• Good manual dexterity
• An aptitude to use basic hand tools
• Ability to work with verbal and written instructions
• Previous Assembly/Manufacturing experience
• Good communication, organisational and listening skills
• Flexible and enthusiastic
